Teacher Seminar Presenter, Colorado Springs
Educators in Colorado Springs, Fountain, Monument, and Manitou Springs can apply to present classroom management seminars to other teachers. As a teacher seminar presenter, you'd lead K-12 staffs through classroom management seminars on training days, at the school or online.
The majority of trainers are working teachers and administrators. They train evenings, weekends, personal days, and summers. Territories aren't part of this. Train around Colorado Springs, travel for a school you connect with, or work online.
The first step is certification, a virtual weekend program of 36 hours over three days on two weekends that ends with presenting practice. Through UMass Global, the certification is eligible for 4 graduate credits. Certification is tuition-based, and sponsorship or a pay-over-time plan can help with the cost.
You'd be an independent contractor paid on a 1099, without a guaranteed number of hours. You'll line up most of your trainings by contacting schools, using what certification teaches about outreach. Your National Director drafts the contract and takes care of negotiation. Payday is every Friday, and a typical training day pays $1,000 or more.
We provide orientation, the training materials you'll present, and support that keeps going after certification. Over three decades, starting in 1993, more than 400,000 educators in all 50 states have taken this training.
Current or former K-12 teachers, principals, counselors, and coaches are a good fit, as are other educators. Students can apply too, provided they intend to complete certification. We prefer a bachelor's degree.
