Professional Development Trainer, Raleigh

Teachers in Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, and Wake Forest who'd like to try training adults: this posting is for you.

Professional development trainers teach classroom management to K-12 staffs on training days, in person or online, using the content from certification. Nobody gets a territory. Your schools can be in Raleigh, a few hours away, or anywhere in the country. More than 400,000 teachers and administrators, from every state, have learned this approach from us since 1993.

Your status would be 1099 independent contractor, and hours depend on the trainings you book, with none guaranteed. You're paid every Friday, and typical training days pay $1,000 or more.

Most trainings come from schools you reach out to yourself, using the approach taught in certification. When a school wants a training, your National Director writes the contract and negotiates the details.

You'll start with the virtual Weekend Certification, which covers Content Mastery and then High-Impact Facilitation in 36 hours over three days. Tuition is charged for certification, and both sponsorship and pay-over-time options are available. You can earn 4 graduate credits through UMass Global with the certification. The package includes orientation, training materials, and support after you're certified.

Teachers, coaches, counselors, principals, and other K-12 educators, whether current or former, are who we want to hear from. Bachelor's degree preferred. Applications from students are fine, provided the student plans to complete certification. Our trainers are mostly active teachers and administrators, training on personal days, weekends, evenings, and during the summer.
