K-12 Workshop Leader, Mesa
Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek: the East Valley has a lot of schools, and we're looking for educators there who want to lead classroom management workshops.
As a K-12 workshop leader, you'd run classroom management workshops for school staffs, in person or by video, and keep each one practical. You can keep your school job. Most trainers do, and they train on evenings, weekends, personal days, and over the summer. You won't be assigned a territory. Train in your own district, nearby, or anywhere else, in person or online.
Over three decades, starting in 1993, more than 400,000 educators in all 50 states have taken this training. This fits K-12 educators, current or former: teachers, instructional coaches, counselors, principals, and others. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Before training any school, you'd finish the virtual Weekend Certification, 36 hours over three days and two weekends. Want graduate credit? The certification is eligible for 4 credits through UMass Global. A tuition cost applies to certification, with sponsorship and pay-over-time options. We also welcome students who plan to complete certification.
You won't be on your own after certification: orientation, materials, and ongoing support are included. The bulk of the work comes from your own outreach to schools, done the way certification teaches. Negotiation and the written contract are your National Director's job. The trainers we work with are 1099 independent contractors, and none has guaranteed hours. Each training day typically earns you $1,000 or more, and pay comes every Friday.
