Standard Chartered Externship: Private Credit

Standard Chartered Externship – Private Credit

Career Advancement is recruiting a small group of students to participate in a six-week externship project with senior bankers at Standard Chartered.

Students selected for the Private Credit project will work as a team to assess the development of private credit markets in the Gulf, with a particular focus on the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The project will explore how established private credit models could translate to the region and where opportunities may exist across different sectors, structures, and investor groups.

Working alongside senior Standard Chartered bankers, students may examine areas including lending structures, ticket sizes, pricing, security, leveraged finance, real estate, SME and asset-backed lending, as well as the roles of local and international investors.

Selected students will receive a $750 Metcalf Stipend for participation in the externship.
