Champions, part of KinderCare Learning Companies, is hiring a Part-Time Floater Site Teacher to support our Before & After School Programs in Sharon and North Canaan, CT!

This is a great opportunity for college students, future educators, and anyone passionate about working with children who wants a flexible weekday schedule without committing to a full workweek.

Pay & Schedule

-Pay: Based on education and experience (up to $22/hour)

-Hours: Less than 15 hours per week

-Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–6:00 PM, as needed

-Flexible scheduling: You will NOT be required to work every day!

-No nights or weekends!

-Hours vary based on program staffing needs and are not guaranteed.

Where You'll Work

You'll have the opportunity to support two Champions After School Programs:

-Sharon Center School: 80 Hilltop Road, Sharon, CT 06069

-North Canaan Elementary School: 90 Pease Street, Canaan, CT 06018

**Candidates must be comfortable traveling between both locations as needed.

What You'll Do

-Help create a fun, safe, and engaging after-school experience for elementary-aged children.

-Assist with hands-on learning activities, arts and crafts, games, and group projects.

-Support children's social, emotional, and educational development.

-Build positive relationships with students and teaching teams.

-Step in to support our programs when additional staffing coverage is needed.

Who Should Apply?

-College students studying Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Social Work, Human Development, or related fields.

-Individuals interested in careers in teaching, childcare, or youth development.

-Camp counselors, tutors, mentors, and others with experience working with children.

-Dependable, enthusiastic individuals looking for flexible part-time work.

-Previous experience working with children is preferred, but we encourage candidates with transferable skills to apply!
