Recruiting Specialist

Audax HR Services seeks a motivated recent graduate or early-career professional ready to build a career in recruiting, talent acquisition, and human resources. Gain practical experience supporting clients in military, government contracting, professional services, and skilled trades. We provide training and mentorship to candidates with strong communication skills, professionalism, and an interest in recruiting.

Skills You'll Develop

  • End-to-end recruiting and talent acquisition

  • Military and government recruiting
  • Additional HR support as needed, including onboarding, benefits, payroll, employee relations, performance management, policy and compliance, leave and accommodations, engagement and retention, corrective action, investigations, organizational development, HRIS and records, affirmative action and EEO, safety and workers' compensation, unemployment claims, job descriptions, handbooks, surveys, and strategic HR planning.

Responsibilities

  • Find candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, networking, and other channels.
  • Evaluate resumes and identify qualified applicants.
  • Conduct phone screens and initial assessments.
  • Schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Develop talent pipelines for current and future roles.
  • Keep recruiting and ATS records accurate and current.
  • Assist with recruiting projects across client accounts.
  • Create a positive experience throughout the hiring process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience in recruiting, HR, customer service, sales, the military, workforce development, or administration may substitute for a degree.

  • Staffing, customer service, or other customer-facing experience
