Classroom Management Speaker, Illinois
Can you hold the attention of a gym full of teachers on an in-service day? If you work in Chicago, Aurora, Rockford, Springfield, or Peoria, this speaking role is worth a look.
Our classroom management speakers present to K-12 staffs, live in the building or virtually. The message is practical: how teachers can keep classrooms orderly and spend their time teaching. The company was founded in 1993, and its training has reached more than 400,000 educators in every one of the 50 states. Territories don't exist here, so your own district counts, and so does a school three states away.
This is a 1099 independent contractor role, and there are no guaranteed hours. The typical rate is $1,000 or more per training day, and payment goes out weekly on Fridays. You'll connect with schools yourself for most trainings, using an outreach approach we teach. Your National Director drafts the contract and handles the back-and-forth on terms.
Certification happens online over two weekends, three days and 36 hours total, and it ends with a full day on facilitation. Certification has a tuition fee, and sponsorship or a pay-over-time option can cover it. The certification can count for 4 graduate credits through UMass Global, and orientation, training materials, and ongoing support come with it.
You can keep your current job. Most trainers are active educators who train in the evenings, on weekends, on personal days, and over the summer. Teachers, principals, coaches, and counselors with K-12 experience, current or former, should apply, as should other educators. Students planning to complete certification are welcome to apply.
