K-12 Workshop Presenter, New York

New York teachers sit through plenty of workshops. If you teach or lead a school in New York City, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, or Albany, we'd like you to lead the kind teachers are glad they attended. As a workshop presenter, you'd stand in front of a K-12 staff, in person or on a video call, and walk them through practical classroom management strategies for a full training day.

Our classroom management training has been running since 1993 and has reached over 400,000 educators nationwide. Trainers can work anywhere in the country because there are no territories.

Most of our trainers are still working teachers and administrators. They train on personal days, weekends, evenings, and in summer. Each trainer is a 1099 independent contractor. No hours are guaranteed. The going rate for a training day is typically $1,000 or more, paid on Fridays.

Most trainers book their own trainings by contacting schools with the approach taught in certification. Once a school agrees, your National Director writes the contract and settles the terms.

It all begins with a virtual Weekend Certification of 36 hours, held over three days on two weekends, with Content Mastery and then High-Impact Facilitation. There's tuition, and two ways to make it easier: sponsorship and paying over time. You can earn 4 graduate credits through UMass Global for the certification, and it includes orientation, training materials, and continuing support.

Teachers, principals, coaches, and counselors with K-12 experience, current or former, should apply, as should other educators. Students can apply too, if they plan to complete certification.
