K-12 Workshop Presenter

If you're at your best in front of a room of teachers, this is presenting work you can do on your own schedule. Our workshop presenters lead classroom management sessions for K-12 school staffs, on site or online.

The Center for Teacher Effectiveness has been training educators since 1993, more than 400,000 of them across all 50 states. Presenters work as 1099 independent contractors. Nothing about the hours is guaranteed, and how many workshops you lead depends on you and the schools you work with.

Pay is by the training day. Presenters usually make $1,000 or more per day, and pay arrives every Friday. Workshops mostly come from schools you contact yourself through the outreach approach taught in certification. After that, your National Director writes up the contract and works out the terms. You can present in your own district, in neighboring ones, or anywhere else in the country.

You'll start with our virtual Weekend Certification, which takes 36 hours over three days and two weekends. The first weekend covers the content you'll present, and the final day is about facilitation. Certification has tuition, with sponsorship and pay-over-time options available. It's eligible for 4 graduate credits through UMass Global, and it includes orientation, training materials, and ongoing support.

Most of our presenters are active teachers and administrators. They present on evenings, weekends, personal days, and over the summer. We welcome current and former K-12 teachers, coaches, counselors, principals, and other educators, along with students who plan to complete certification.
