Housing Specialist

In this role, you'll engage directly with individuals in need, helping them identify and meet essential needs, navigate complex systems, and find lasting housing solutions. You'll serve as the go-to resource on housing services in your area, while working with local landlords and community partners to support individuals with disabilities or those in recovery. You'll also assist clients in connecting with services related to behavioral health, physical health, and employment.

This is a mostly a field position that requires use of clinical strategies and the ability to pivot based on prioritizing tasks. The role requires an individual who is a great multitasker and the ability and skills required to be an independent decision maker while in the field.

Important to note: For individuals interested in the Housing Specialist role, you must be comfortable with speaking with people in the community without a place to live, and some may live in encampments. We ask that anyone applying be comfortable with engaging with communities living outside. Applicants must be comfortable using personal vehicle to provide transportation to clinical appointments. Mileage reimbursement is provided. There are options to rent company vehicles for individuals with disabilities and if own vehicle is under maintenance temporarily.
