Developer L1

Location: Boston, MassachusettsJob Type: Full-Time, Onsite

About the RoleWe're looking for a Developer L1 to join our engineering team. You'll work on real software problems from day one — writing code, fixing bugs, and building features that actually ship. This isn't a "shadow someone for six months" role. You'll contribute to production systems early on, with support from senior engineers who care about helping you grow.

What You'll Do- Write clean, maintainable code across the stack- Debug issues in existing systems and implement fixes- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers on feature development- Participate in code reviews — both giving and receiving feedback- Write unit tests and contribute to automated testing efforts- Work within an agile team: standups, sprints, retrospectives- Learn the codebase fast and ask good questions when something doesn't make sense

About You- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)- Solid grasp of at least one programming language — Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar- Familiar with version control (Git)- Comfortable working in a team environment and communicating clearly- You take ownership of your work and follow through

Nice to Have- Experience with REST APIs or web frameworks- Exposure to SQL or NoSQL databases- Any internship or project experience shipping real software- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or cloud platforms
