About the Role
Jezic & Moyse, LLC, a multi-practice 21-attorney firm, is seeking a Spanish-speaking paralegal to join its growing team in Wheaton, Maryland. The firm seeks a committed advocate who will enhance our team’s ability to provide zealous, empathetic, and top-notch legal services to our clients who come from all over the world.
What you'll do
- Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and agreements under attorney supervision - Manage case files from intake through resolution, keeping everything organized and up to date - Coordinate scheduling with courts and opposing counsel - File documents with courts - Communicate with clients regularly to provide case updates and gather information - Assist with discovery: organize, review, and index documents; prepare responses to interrogatories - Maintain calendars, deadlines, and docket entries with precision
About you
- Preferably paralegal experience (family law or civil litigation) - Spanish proficiency - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Comfortable managing multiple active files at once - Proficient in standard office tools (Word, Outlook) - Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred - Notary Public certification a plus
