• SAT Reading & Writing Teacher

Role Description

• The SAT Teacher will provide in-person instruction to high school students preparing for the SAT exam at our Irvine, CA location.
• On-site role involves delivering engaging lessons in math, reading, and writing, following established curricula and test-prep strategies.
• The teacher will plan lessons, assign practice work, review student progress, and offer targeted feedback to improve scores and skills.
• Responsibilities include monitoring performance data, adjusting instruction to meet individual needs, and maintaining a structured, inclusive classroom environment.
• The SAT Teacher will also collaborate with other staff members, participate in training, and communicate with students and families regarding academic progress and expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience instructing high school students or test-prep courses.
• Demonstrated skills in Lesson Planning and Training, including designing structured sessions and practice activities aligned with SAT content.
• Effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and support learners with varied skill levels.
• Bachelor’s degree and above in education, mathematics, English, or a related field, or equivalent teaching experience.
• Familiarity with current SAT format, question types, and test-taking strategies.
• Ability to manage classrooms, motivate students, and create an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
• Prior tutoring, classroom teaching, or standardized test preparation experience is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English — able to teach in both languages
