We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Stop Motion Animation Instructor to introduce students to the art of making objects move through photos, storytelling, and simple animation techniques.
Students will learn how to plan scenes, create characters, capture individual frames, and combine images to produce their own animated videos. You'll help them explore storytelling, creativity, and digital media while turning imaginative ideas into short films.
You don't need to be a professional animator or experienced classroom teacher. If you enjoy animation, filmmaking, video creation, photography, or creative storytelling, this could be an exciting opportunity to share your skills.
Curriculum guidance and instructional materials are provided, so you can focus on helping students experiment, create, and bring their stories to life.

- Help students use animation tools, cameras, tablets, or applicable software
- Encourage experimentation with toys, clay, paper cutouts, drawings, and everyday objects
- Break down creative projects into clear, manageable steps
- Encourage students to develop original ideas and express their creativity
- Support students as they troubleshoot animation challenges and improve their projects
- Provide constructive feedback and celebrate student progress
- Promote responsible use of equipment and digital tools
- Maintain a positive, organized, and supportive learning environment
- Communicate professionally with program coordinators and school staff
- Arrive prepared, dependable, and ready to create
