About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter who specializes in OPT (Optional Practical Training) hiring to join our talent acquisition team. You'll own the end-to-end recruiting process for technical roles, with a strong focus on identifying and engaging candidates on OPT status. This is a high-impact role where your work directly shapes the engineering and technology teams we build.
What You'll Do
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for software engineering, data science, and other technical positions- Source, screen, and engage OPT candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, university partnerships, and referral networks- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and build targeted sourcing strategies- Manage candidate pipelines in the ATS, ensuring timely follow-up and a smooth candidate experience- Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and drive decisions through offer stage- Stay current on OPT regulations, timelines, and work authorization nuances to advise both candidates and internal stakeholders- Track recruiting metrics and report on pipeline health, time-to-fill, and quality of hire
About You
- 4+ years of technical recruiting experience, with meaningful exposure to OPT or international student hiring- Strong sourcing skills — you know how to find people who aren't applying- Comfortable navigating OPT CPT timelines, EAD cards, and employer obligations- Experience with a major ATS (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, or similar)- Clear communicator who can manage multiple requisitions without dropping the ball- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience recruiting for startups or fast-growth tech companies- Familiarity with H-1B transition processes post-OPT- University recruiting or campus partnership experience
