The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional LSAT Reading Comprehension Coach to work one-on-one with a highly accomplished student preparing for the November 2026 LSAT.
The student is already performing at the 170–175 level and is seeking highly specialized support to eliminate remaining weaknesses in Reading Comprehension (RC).
This is an opportunity to work with an advanced learner where every question matters. We are looking for a coach who can deliver sophisticated test-taking insights, not introductory LSAT instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide targeted 1:1 coaching focused on the LSAT Reading Comprehension section.
- Diagnose recurring mistakes in challenging RC passages and questions.
- Teach advanced strategies for passage structure, author perspective, comparative reading, and nuanced inference questions.
- Help improve accuracy, pacing, and decision-making under timed testing conditions.
- Review practice-test performance and develop individualized improvement plans.
- Build confidence and consistency for a student targeting a top-percentile LSAT score.
- Provide actionable feedback and structured practice assignments leading up to the November exam.
Who We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current JD student, law school graduate, or experienced LSAT instructor.
- Official LSAT score of 175+ strongly preferred, with demonstrated excellence in Reading Comprehension.
- Proven experience coaching students already scoring 165–170+.
- Deep familiarity with the current LSAT Reading Comprehension format and question types.
- Ability to explain subtle distinctions between closely competing answer choices.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and analytical thinking.
- Availability to begin immediately.
Additional Advantages:
- Enrollment at or graduation from a leading U.S. law school.
- Previous LSAT teaching experience with measurable student improvement.
