Junior AI Engineer

We are looking for a driven and curious Junior AI Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will help design, build, and integrate artificial intelligence features, machine learning pipelines, and LLM-powered applications into our core products and internal workflows. If you have a solid foundation in Python, a passion for AI/ML development, and are looking for a place where you can ship real-world AI features while securing your post-graduation work authorization, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities: 

  • AI & LLM Integration: Build and maintain applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), vector databases, and modern AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models).
     
  • Model Pipeline Development: Assist in developing, fine-tuning, and evaluating machine learning or NLP models for internal automation and product features.
     
  • Data Engineering & Preprocessing: Clean, structure, and manage datasets required for model training, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
     
  • Collaboration & Testing: Partner with backend and product teams to integrate AI services into scalable web applications, run performance tests, and monitor output accuracy.
     
  • Research & Prototyping: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI/ML tooling and rapidly prototype proof-of-concept solutions for business challenges.

What We Are Looking For: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
  • Work Authorization: Currently on F-1 OPT or on a STEM OPT extension with valid EAD Card.

Technical Skillset:

  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LlamaIndex) and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Chroma, Supabase pgvector).
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, Git version control, and basic backend integration.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, a high comfort level with experimentation and debugging, and excellent communication skills.
