Part-Time Graphic Designer

Vinyl + Thread + ML Presents
Location: Brooklyn, NY (DUMBO)
Job Type: Part-Time (15–25 hours/week)
Compensation: Hourly, based on experience

About Us

Vinyl + Thread is a record and clothing store located in the heart of DUMBO, Brooklyn. We specialize in vinyl records across multiple genres and curate a unique selection of vintage and contemporary apparel.

ML Presents produces live concerts, tribute shows, and special events throughout New York City.

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to help bring our brands, events, and marketing campaigns to life.

What You'll Do

  • Design graphics for social media, email marketing, websites, and digital advertising
  • Create promotional materials for concerts, events, and retail campaigns
  • Design posters, flyers, signage, and other print collateral
  • Assist with branding and visual identity projects
  • Collaborate on creative campaigns for both Vinyl + Thread and ML Presents
  • Prepare production-ready files for print and digital use
  • Maintain visual consistency across all platforms

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience with Canva and/or Figma
  • Strong typography, layout, and branding skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Interest in music, fashion, live events, or creative industries is a plus
