Desktop Engineer

Join Mary Greeley Medical Center as a Desktop Engineer and help deliver the technology that keeps healthcare running. In this role, you'll support and enhance endpoint management, operating system deployments, application delivery, and device lifecycle management while working closely with Service Desk, Infrastructure, and Information Systems teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support, design, and maintain endpoint operating systems and application deployment processes.
  • Create, maintain, and deploy application packages through enterprise software distribution platforms.
  • Assist with Windows desktop imaging and operating system deployment management.
  • Manage endpoint devices using tools such as Microsoft Intune, Group Policy, PowerShell, Ivanti, AirWatch, and related technologies.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services in a cloud environment.
  • Support mobile device management for company-owned iOS devices.
  • Test and deploy operating system patches and software upgrades.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and second-level support for endpoint issues.
  • Collaborate on hardware evaluation, selection, and lifecycle management.
  • Support enterprise printer management solutions and improve service delivery, security, and user experience.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and contribute to process automation initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Computer Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional certification and experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience deploying and administering Windows operating systems and application packages.
  • Experience supporting Apple iOS devices in a Windows environment.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Experience with PowerShell or another scripting language.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  • Healthcare IT experience preferred.
