What Will You Do?

As an English teacher in Thailand, you'll work with local students and school staff to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Teaching English and helping students develop their communication skills.
• Planning and delivering interactive lessons adapted to students' ages and abilities.
• Encouraging students to build confidence speaking English.
• Collaborating with Thai teachers and school staff.
• Depending on your background and interests, you may also have opportunities to teach other subjects in English.

You'll work with students aged 3 to 18, depending on your school placement.

Who Can Apply?

We're looking for motivated, adaptable graduates who are excited about working with young learners and experiencing life abroad.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in any field.
• Native-level English proficiency.
• Citizenship from: the USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
• Applicants must be 50 years old or younger.
• A clean criminal record, subject to individual review where appropriate.
• Ability to provide the required documentation and proof of sufficient initial funds.
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and a genuine interest in education and cultural exchange.

Previous teaching experience is welcome but not required.

A TEFL certification is not mandatory, although it can strengthen your application and may improve your placement opportunities. An optional 140-hour online TEFL course is available through Gloading at an additional cost.

Program Dates

Next intake: May 2027

Teaching opportunities are available within the Thai academic calendar, with terms generally running from May to September and October to March.

Candidates may be considered for a single term or a full academic year, although schools generally prefer teachers who can commit to the full year.

Program Fees

Gloading provides recruitment assistance, pre-departure guidance, coordination with our local partner, and ongoing program support.

The program fee is €2,100, which includes an initial €500 commitment payment deducted from the total fee.

Participants are also responsible for personal expenses such as flights, visa-related costs, required documentation, and initial living expenses.
