Supply Chain Intern

The Badger Meter Internship Program provides hands-on, real-world experience to students through projects that make a difference! In addition to your projects, you will be given the opportunity to participate in our robust Intern program focused on Badger Meter Culture, professional development, community outreach and a final capstone project.

Badger Meter is hiring a Supply Chain Intern who will be responsible for a range of support activities.

Essential Job Duties: 

• Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) Process - creation, improvement, standardization 

• Review/updating product forecasts 

• Review and update part parameters 

• Enter MRO purchase orders 

• Pull reports and reach out to suppliers as needed 

• Inventory management review - clean up, assisting in pulling KPI information for various sites 

• Assist procurement with order entry 
• Supplier updates on orders 

• System updates and other items 

• Potential assistance in logistics and trade compliance 

Qualifications: 

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Operations and Supply Chain or a related field 

• Intermediate computer/technical skills in Microsoft products 

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

This internship provides meaningful, project-based work with defined deliverables, hands-on learning opportunities, and ongoing coaching and mentorship.
