Criminal Justice Services Director - Chippewa County, WI
Chippewa County, WI is seeking a dynamic and strategic Criminal Justice Services Director (CJS) to lead the Chippewa County Criminal Justices Services Division. The CJS Division is part of the Department of Administration. The CJS Director reports directly to the County Administrator but primarily works with and between the Court System, District Attorney’s office, and Sheriff’s Office. The Director oversees and coordinates a number of programs and funding sources working with County, State, and Federal agencies.
The Director manages a strong and dedicated CJS team and oversees the Recovery Court, Hope House, Front-End Intervention Treatment, First Time Offender, Diversion and Pretrial Supervision programs. The Director is expected to be current on evidence based practices, and be able to develop new innovative programming to serve the County.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Social Work, Political Science, Organizational Development, or other closely related field required.
Five (5) years of recent experience working in the criminal justice system, public administration, or human services field required. Two (2) years of recent management experience required. If candidate has a Social Worker degree (not required), a current/valid Social Work certification for the State of Wisconsin is necessary. Must have demonstrated experience in strategic planning, data analysis, and program evaluation. A valid drivers licenses required.

Starting Wage: $44.18 - $50.21 per hour depending on qualifications plus an excellent fringe benefit package. Maximum Wage: $60.25 per hour
