About the Role

We're looking for a Veterinarian — experienced or a new/recent graduate — to join our team in Veneta, Oregon. We are a locally owned and operated Veterinary Hospital west of Eugene.  This is a chance to practice medicine in a genuinely supportive environment where collaboration is the norm, not a talking point.

What you'll do

- Perform thorough physical examinations and develop diagnostic and treatment plans for patients- Order/conduct and interpret diagnostic tests including bloodwork, urinalysis, slide cytologies, radiographs and ultrasounds- Perform surgical procedures ranging from routine to more complex depending on your experience level- Prescribe and administer medications, vaccines, and therapeutic treatments- Maintain accurate and complete medical records- Communicate clearly with pet owners about diagnostics, diagnoses, treatment options, costs, and follow-up care- Work alongside a team of doctors who are available to mentor, consult, and collaborate.

About you

Required:- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution- Veterinary licensure in Oregon - A desire to see a diversity of cases and to work with clients to provide the best medicine and surgical options for the patients. 

Nice to have:- Prior clinical experience but new grads are genuinely welcome here.
