iNvest CLT—Digital Social Media Content Creator Intern

iNvest CLT is a Charlotte-based nonprofit providing free financial literacy education, mentorship, and career exposure to young people (K–26).

About the Role

We are seeking a creative Digital Social Media Content Creator Intern to tell the iNvest CLT story where students already hang out. You will create original social content, capture event media, track performance, and help introduce Wingate students to financial literacy programs and the iNvest CLT Speaker Series.

What You Will Do

  • Content Creation: Plan, create, and publish original graphics, short-form videos, and posts for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Event Media Capture: Attend workshops, mentoring sessions, and Speaker Series events to capture raw photo/video content and turn them into recap posts.
  • Social Trends & Strategy: Identify trending audio/formats and recommend creative ways iNvest CLT can leverage them.
  • Planning & Outreach: Maintain a consistent content calendar and collaborate with Wingate University partners to expand program reach.
  • Performance Tracking: Review post performance analytics and share actionable insights with the team to improve future content.
     

Qualifications

  • Eligibility: Current Wingate University Junior or Senior.
  • Skills: Strong familiarity with social media platforms, trend identification, and basic content creation (video/photo editing).
  • Mindset: Creative, reliable, punctual, and comfortable meeting deadlines.
  • Requirements: Reliable transportation, flexible availability, and willingness to sign an NDA.
