Are you a compassionate counselor looking for an opportunity to make a difference while growing your career? Addiction Medical Facility is seeking a dedicated and motivated Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Counselor to join our team!

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to start part-time and grow into a full-time position as our IOP program expands. We are looking for a team member who wants to grow alongside our program and make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals in recovery.

🕒 POSITION DETAILS

  • Part-time to start, with a strong opportunity to grow into full-time employment as program needs increase.
  • IOP groups meet 3 days per week for 3 hours each day.
  • Additional hours for individual counseling, assessments, treatment planning, documentation, and other clinical responsibilities.
  • Opportunity for increased hours as client enrollment and program services expand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate IOP group counseling sessions.
  • Provide individual counseling within the scope of professional qualifications.
  • Assist with client assessments and individualized treatment plans.
  • Complete progress notes and clinical documentation accurately and on time.
  • Support clients with coping skills, relapse prevention, and recovery goals.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to provide quality, person-centered care.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidates with relevant education, credentials, certifications, and experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Substance use disorder or behavioral health experience preferred.
  • Appropriate qualifications for assigned counseling duties required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping individuals achieve lasting recovery.
