AI & Workflow Automation Specialist
About Us & Our Mission
We design and deploy intelligent, enterprise-grade workflow automations that eliminate repetitive manual operational tasks and scale core business processes. By combining modern low-code/no-code platforms (n8n, Make, Zapier), custom Python/Node.js scripting, and state-of-the-art AI capabilities (LLM APIs, RAG, Webhooks), we turn complex, fragmented operations into streamlined, self-orchestrating systems. We prioritize concrete deliverables, measurable time savings, and practical proof-of-work over conventional resume credentials. If you are passionate about process optimization, system integration, and building resilient AI-driven automation pipelines, you will thrive on our team.
The Role:
What You Will Accomplish As our AI & Workflow Automation Specialist, you will own end-to-end automation engineering—from auditing existing operational bottlenecks to designing, building, and maintaining multi-step automated workflows. You will bridge business systems (CRMs, ERPs, databases, communication channels) with generative AI models to build autonomous lead processing, automated document extraction, intelligent customer dispatch, and real-time data syncs across our tech stack.
Key Responsibilities Architect Multi-System Workflows:
Design, configure, and maintain robust end-to-end automation workflows using platforms like n8n, Make (Integromat), Zapier, or custom orchestration code. Integrate AI Capabilities: Embed generative AI endpoints (OpenAI GPT-4, Anthropic Claude, custom vision/OCR models) into automated pipelines for intelligent routing, content summarization, data extraction, and decision logic. API & Webhook Engineering: Build custom webhooks, REST API connectors, and middleware scripts (Python/JavaScript) to link systems lacking native integrations. Process Mining & Optimization: Analyze existing manual business workflows, map data flows, identify friction points, and re-engineer processes for maximum speed and error tolerance. Monitoring & Error Handling: Implement comprehensive error-handling logic, fallbacks, automated alerts (Slack/Email), logging, and security compliance across all active workflows.
Qualifications & Skills
Must-Have Requirements (Essential) 3+ years of experience in workflow automation, process engineering, or systems integration. Mastery of Workflow Platforms: Demonstrated hands-on expertise building complex, multi-branch scenarios in n8n, Make (Integromat), or Zapier. API & Webhook Proficiency: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP protocols, Webhook payload parsing, JSON manipulation, and authentication methods (OAuth2, API keys). Scripting Capability: Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/Node.js for custom data transformation, string parsing, and building custom connectors. LLM & AI Integration Experience: Practical experience incorporating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) or vision/document extraction tools into automated business processes. Problem-Solving & Systemic Thinking: Ability to map unstructured business requests into clean, deterministic logic flows and document systems clearly. Nice-to-Have Qualifications (Preferred) Experience with enterprise RPA platforms (UiPath, Power Automate) or database systems (PostgreSQL, Airtable, Snowflake). Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant) and RAG architecture for workflow retrieval. Background in cloud infrastructure, serverless functions (AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions), or Docker.
Evaluation Process:
Practical Proof-of-Work In line with our commitment to skills-first hiring and bypassing artificial resume filters, our selection process focuses on demonstrated execution: Initial Review: A brief review of your past automation projects, flow diagrams, or public GitHub repositories. Practical Work-Sample Assessment: A short, paid practical exercise where you will troubleshoot or build a multi-step workflow incorporating an API connector and AI logic. Technical Architecture Review: A collaborative technical discussion discussing scenario design, error handling, rate limits, and scalability.
Compensation, Benefits & Perks Competitive Salary:
$115,000 – $155,000 USD / year, benchmarked against top global technology standards. 100% Remote Flexibility: Work from anywhere with flexible, outcome-focused working hours. Professional Growth Stipend: $1,500/year for automation tools.
How to Apply To apply, submit your resume along with a link to a portfolio, GitHub, or a short summary (3-5 sentences) describing the most complex workflow automation you have designed and deployed.
