AI Agents & Chatbots Specialist

About Us & Our Mission

At our core, we build and deploy intelligent automation systems that transform how modern businesses operate. We focus on outcome-driven engineering, replacing manual friction with production-ready AI agents, autonomous support bots, and seamless API integrations. Our team values transparent communication, continuous learning, and cryptographic proof-of-work over conventional resume buzzwords. If you thrive on solving complex workflow challenges and building AI that works reliably in production, you will feel right at home here.

The Role: What You Will Accomplish

We are looking for an AI Agents & Chatbots Specialist to design, build, and deploy custom autonomous agents, conversational bots, and multi-step workflow pipelines. You won't just be wrapping basic API calls—you will engineer context-aware AI agents that interface with live CRMs, vector databases, and enterprise applications to handle real-world business tasks autonomously (e.g., resolving complex customer support inquiries in seconds or orchestrating multi-system lead processing).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Deploy Autonomous Agents: Architect multi-agent systems and conversational bots using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
  • Integrate APIs & Workflows: Connect LLM endpoints (OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude) with business systems (HubSpot, Slack, Zendesk, Salesforce) and automation platforms (n8n, Make/Integromat, Zapier).
  • Build Robust RAG Pipelines: Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures with vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate) for accurate, contextual retrieval.
  • Ensure Performance & Reliability: Implement prompt engineering best practices, fallback mechanics, execution logging, and latency optimization (targeting sub-second response times).
  • Collaborate & Document: Partner with product and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical workflows, providing clear documentation and monitoring.

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have Requirements (Essential)

  • 3+ years of software engineering or automation experience, with a focus on AI integrations or backend systems.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs & Agent Frameworks: Proven track record building with OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude API, and frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen.
  • Proficiency in Python or Node.js: Strong capability in writing clean, modular, and testable code.
  • API & Webhook Mastery: Demonstrated experience designing, consuming, and debugging RESTful APIs and Webhooks.
  • Database & Vector Search Knowledge: Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases and vector stores (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, or Chroma).
  • Problem-Solving & Communication: Ability to explain complex technical workflows clearly to non-technical stakeholders and write structured documentation.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Experience with open-source AI frameworks, local model deployment (Ollama, vLLM), or fine-tuning models.
  • Background in workflow automation tools (n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate) or RPA tools (UiPath).
  • Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Evaluation Process: Practical Proof-of-Work

To ensure a fair, skills-first hiring process that values actual capability over keyword-matching resumes, our selection process includes:

  1. Initial Review: Brief screening of your past work examples or code repository.
  2. Practical Work-Sample Assessment: A short, paid practical exercise building or debugging a simple agentic workflow.
  3. Technical Conversation: A focused discussion on your architecture choices, handling edge cases, and past project experience.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 USD / year, benchmarked against global industry standards.
  • Flexible Work & Location: 100% remote work with flexible working hours.
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage (or local equivalent stipend).
  • Generous Paid Time Off: Unlimited PTO (minimum 20 days encouraged) plus paid company holidays.
  • Professional Growth: $1,500 annual stipend for courses, books, certifications, and AI tools/subscriptions.
  • Hardware & Home Office: Latest Apple/PC equipment provided plus a home office setup allowance.

How to Apply

To apply, submit your resume and a link to a GitHub profile, portfolio, or a brief description of a real AI/automation project you have built.

Diversity & Equal Opportunity: We are committed to building an inclusive workplace. We evaluate candidates based on skills, outcomes, and practical performance regardless of traditional background or location.
