We are seeking a Business Solutions Analyst specializing in API-driven integrations and modern data exchange. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams by gathering functional requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications, and maintaining technical API documentation. You will analyze REST API workflows using OpenAPI/Swagger, conduct validation testing via Postman, and ensure seamless system integrations across enterprise platforms.

YOUR RESUME MUST SHOW THESE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ Years IT Systems Analysis: Minimum 5 years of experience applying analytical processes on IT initiatives, with at least 3 years specifically in business systems analysis and design.
  • REST API & OpenAPI/Swagger Analysis: Direct experience capturing and defining REST API requirements, including working with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
  • API & Data Integration Experience: 3+ years of focused business or systems analysis experience working on data exchange, EDI, or API-based integration initiatives.
  • Technical API Documentation: Demonstrated experience writing and maintaining API documentation, companion guides, and requirements trackers.
  • API Validation Tools: Hands-on comfort performing non-developer-level API testing, payload inspection, and validation using Postman or equivalent tools.
  • Azure APIM Familiarity: Practical familiarity with Azure API Management (APIM) from an analyst, documentation, and endpoint review standpoint.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Strong facilitation and communication skills to effectively align business clients, external partners, and technical development teams.
  • Bachelor’s Degree: Required from an accredited institution (qualifying analytical experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis).
  • Core Systems Analysis Competencies: Solid working knowledge of business process reengineering (BPR), cost-benefit/trade-off analyses, SDLC life cycle management, and IT security/information assurance standards.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in: data engineering, database administration, BI development, or data architecture. 
  • 4+ years of experience designing and managing data warehouse/data lakes in Azure: Data Lake Storage Gen2, Synapse, Azure Data Factory.
  • 4+ years of experience with Azure Purview, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory or similar data catalog/governance tools. 
  • 4+ years of experience with database management systems, to include SQL Server, Cache or InterSystems IRIS, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2. 
  • 2+ years of experience developing plans and strategies for enterprise data collection and reporting, and presenting such plans to senior-level and executive-level stakeholders.

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
