Nelson Numeric is seeking CNC Swiss Machinists at Levels I, II, and III to operate and set up multi-axis Swiss machines in a quality-focused manufacturing environment. What You'll Do• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC Swiss machines with live tooling.• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and CNC programs.• Adjust tooling, feeds, speeds, and machine settings to produce precision components.• Inspect parts using precision measurement tools to ensure quality and tight tolerances.• Troubleshoot machining issues and maintain production and safety standards.• Follow established procedures while minimizing material waste.• Assist with training and mentoring other machinists as appropriate for experience level. Position Requirements• High school diploma or equivalent required.• Two-year degree in Machining Technology or CNC machining trade school preferred.• CNC Swiss machining experience based on position level :o Level I: Based on position and demonstrated skills. o Level II: Minimum of 2 years of CNC Swiss machining experience. o Level III: Minimum of 5 years of CNC Swiss machining experience.• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and CNC programs.• Understanding of machine setup, tooling requirements, and tool presetting.• Level III: Ability to interpret multi-axis CNC programs and fluency in G-code and M-code.• Strong mechanical aptitude, measurement skills, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.• Familiarity with manufacturing computer systems and Microsoft applications.• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and production standards. Physical Requirements• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.• Ability to stand throughout the workday, except during breaks.• Ability to operate machinery and tools required for the position.
