Street Interview Screenwriter

Seeking a talented screenwriter with to help script and write for street interview carousels and videos about peoples' life stories and lessons they've learned.

High-level outline of your responsibilities:

• Write carousel scripts, captions and short video scripts from street interview transcripts that help people learn about life and feel inspired and heard
• Find the story in every interview: pick the strongest lines, shape the arc and stay true to the person’s own words
• Write hooks and opening lines that stop the scroll and make people want to read to the end
• Pitch story angles, series ideas and new formats based on what you’re seeing in the interviews
• Keep a lean writing system: organize transcripts, drafts, scripts and finished stories so everything is easy to find and build
• Potential add-on: help film interviews and edit short-form video

Requirements

• Exceptional writer with a strong voice who can turn a long conversation into a few lines that hit hard
• Strong editing instincts on the page: you know what to cut, what to keep and where the story really starts
• A deep understanding of Instagram and of what makes people stop, read and share
• A portfolio of writing that shows range: personal stories, short-form social copy and a feel for what resonates
• Strong sense of brand (consistency, memorability, distinctiveness)
• Bonus: video shooting or editing experience (CapCut or Final Cut Pro)
