Banquet Server
We are seeking Banquet Servers to provide exceptional service at upscale events. This role requires precision, professionalism, and the ability to deliver a seamless, high-end guest experience. Be part of a premier 50th Anniversary Celebration for a Fortune 500 company on November 5th at the ExtraCo Event Center in Waco, TX. Staff members play a key role in delivering exceptional service and supporting a seamless event experience featuring live entertainment, interactive activities, and specialty attractions.
Spots open:
28- Server Spots 2:00 pm- 11:00 pm
15- Back of House/ Runners: 2:00 pm-11:00pm
15- Guest Registration: 3:00 pm-10:30 pm
Pay Rate: $20/ HR -Guarantees hours/ Pay but must commit to being there the full time.
Payment: Checks available for pickup the day after the event from 11:00am-3:00pm, in the event site lobby.
Uniform: Nice Jeans with no holes. Comfortable closed-toed shoes (no Crocs). Shirt Size needed for ordering the shirt for the event. Shirt is yours to keep after the event.
Meal included: A BBQ meal will be provided for you. Shifts for dinner will be rotated.
If you have previous serving experience, that's wonderful. We will also provide fine dining training to ensure all servers feel confident and fully understand the expectations for the event. 1 hour Pre-event training via a Teams meeting is required and training the day of the event when all staff arrive to do a walkthrough of the event timeline.
The event shift is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM on November 5th. Once all staff have arrived, we will review the event timeline, responsibilities, and expectations for the evening. All staff must remain throughout the entire event.
- A 1-hour paid training is required for all staff. Look for the link in your email for details on attending the paid training.
- Dates: Wednesday, October 28th @ 7pm, Thursday, October 29th @ 7pm, & Sunday, November 1st @ 7pm.
- We will take attendance at each of the sessions, and you will be paid for the full hour. Only one class is required for each staff member to attend.
