About the RoleWe're looking for a dually certified long-term substitute teacher at the elementary level. This is a hands-on classroom role — you'll step into an active teaching assignment and keep students' learning on track while maintaining a structured, supportive environment.

What you'll do- Take over daily classroom instruction for an elementary class, following existing lesson plans and curriculum- Manage classroom behavior and routines with consistency- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including students with IEPs- Collaborate with grade-level teams, special education staff, and building administrators- Communicate with parents and guardians as needed- Maintain accurate student records and progress documentation- Attend relevant meetings and professional development sessions during the assignment

About you- Hold dual certification in Elementary Education and Special Education (required)- Experience working with elementary-age students, including those with diverse learning needs- Strong classroom management skills- Comfortable picking up mid-year and working within established structures- Reliable, flexible, and a clear communicator

Nice to have- Prior long-term substitute or lead teaching experience- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation- Experience with co-teaching models
