Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Science Teacher for a contract position in Cleveland, Ohio, for the remainder of the school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about science education and helping students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with curriculum standards.




• Teach middle school science concepts through hands-on activities, experiments, and demonstrations.




• Encourage scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving.




• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual learning needs.




• Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.




• Implement effective classroom management strategies.




• Collaborate with school staff and families to support student achievement.




• Maintain accurate records of student performance and academic progress.

Qualifications

• Middle school science teaching experience preferred.




• Strong knowledge of science concepts and instructional practices.




• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.




• Ability to differentiate instruction for students with diverse learning needs.




• Appropriate teaching license or credentials, as required.
