Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 4th/5th Grade Teacher for a contract position in Cleveland, Ohio, for the remainder of the school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about elementary education and committed to helping students build strong academic foundations while creating a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons for 4th and 5th grade students.
Teach core subjects, including English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
Differentiate instruction to meet students' diverse learning needs and academic levels.
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to support academic growth.
Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
Implement effective classroom management strategies.
Collaborate with school staff and families to support student success.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and academic progress.
Qualifications
Elementary teaching experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum and instructional practices.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to engage students and support diverse learning needs.
Appropriate teaching license or credentials, as required.
