About the Role

We're looking for a freelance Social Media Content Creator / Videographer to capture high-quality photo and video content for a medspa in Cleveland, OH.

This role involves one on-site content shoot per month, lasting approximately 4–5 hours. You'll work directly with an existing Social Media Manager who will provide a detailed shot list, creative direction, and content requirements ahead of each shoot.

This is strictly a content capture role. You will not be responsible for editing videos, developing content strategies, managing social media accounts, or publishing content.

What You'll Do

Visit the medspa once per month for a scheduled 4–5 hour content shoot.

Capture high-quality vertical video footage for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social media platforms.

Film aesthetic treatments, skincare services, staff interactions, behind-the-scenes moments, and other medspa-related content.

Take high-quality photos as outlined in the provided shot list.

Follow detailed shot lists and creative briefs provided by the Social Media Manager.

Ensure footage is well-lit, properly framed, and visually appealing.

Capture multiple angles, close-ups, and supporting B-roll footage as requested.

Organize, label, and upload all raw photo and video files to a designated shared drive after each shoot.

Communicate with the Social Media Manager to ensure all required footage has been captured.

About You

Current student, recent graduate, or emerging professional in Film, Digital Media, Photography, Communications, or a related field.

Experience capturing video content for Instagram, TikTok, or similar platforms.

Strong understanding of lighting, composition, framing, and vertical video production.

Comfortable filming people, treatments, and activities in a professional medspa environment.

Owns a high-quality smartphone or camera and basic filming equipment.

Highly organized, reliable, and able to follow detailed shot lists.

Able to work independently while following creative direction.

Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver organized files on time.

Portfolio or examples of previous video work required.

Experience filming beauty, skincare, wellness, or aesthetic treatments is a plus, but not required.

Video editing or post-production

Social media management or publishing

Content strategy or ideation

Writing captions or managing engagement

Creating shot lists or content calendars

Our existing Social Media Manager handles all creative planning, editing, and publishing. Your focus will be on capturing excellent footage and delivering organized raw files.

Schedule & Compensation

Frequency: One content shoot per month

Shoot Duration: Approximately 4–5 hours per session

Location: On-site at a medspa in Cleveland, OH

Schedule: Flexible, with shoot dates coordinated in advance

Compensation: Project-based; rate negotiable depending on experience and equipment
