This position involves real, active cases and highly confidential materials. We are seeking someone who takes these responsibilities seriously, communicates consistently, meets deadlines, and follows instructions carefully. Accuracy, discretion, and dependable follow-through are essential because our work affects clients, attorneys, witnesses, and the people involved in each case.
Administrative responsibilities are a central part of this role. Applicants must be willing to organize files, maintain records, complete routine tasks, and follow through on assignments with the same care they bring to investigative work. An interest in the field must be matched by a commitment to learning, maintaining confidentiality, and meeting professional standards.
Some assignments may involve sensitive or disturbing case materials. Applicants should be prepared to approach this work with maturity, sound judgment, and respect.
What We Are Looking For
Strong organization, attention to detail, and written communication skills.
Reliability and the ability to manage priorities and complete assignments.
Professional communication with clients, attorneys, witnesses, and colleagues.
Comfort with computers, email, digital documents, and learning case management software.
The ability to work independently within instructions and ask questions when clarification is needed.
A willingness to accept feedback and apply it.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for assignments requiring travel.
Who Should Apply
We welcome applicants interested in criminal justice, legal studies, paralegal work, private investigations, or office administration. Relevant experience is helpful, but strong transferable skills, a consistent work ethic, and a willingness to learn are also valuable.
Responsibilities will be assigned according to experience, training, applicable licensing requirements, and demonstrated readiness. Participation in particular cases, field assignments, or conferences will depend on agency needs.
