Wastewater Operator Class III-Virginia

The Nelson County Service Authority is now hiring for the following position:

Wastewater Plant Operator Class III (Full –Time) – This position is responsible for the successful operation of the Nelson County Service Authority Wastewater treatment facility at our Colleen location. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required at minimum. Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license in good standing. Must have a minimum of a Class III Wastewater works certification license, as established by the Virginia Department of Commerce Certification Board of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators. Experience with Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) technology preferred.

Salary range: $46,000- $67,000 annually

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits package including insurance, paid time off and Virginia Retirement System.
