What You'll Do

As a Law Clerk, you'll work alongside experienced attorneys and gain valuable, hands-on experience in workers’ compensation defense litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda addressing Nevada workers’ compensation laws and regulations.

Assist attorneys with drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

Review and analyze medical records, case files, and supporting documentation.

Assist with discovery, case preparation, and litigation strategy.

Research relevant case law, statutes, and administrative decisions.

Support attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.

Collaborate with attorneys and legal support professionals to ensure timely and effective case management.

Who We're Looking For

Current law students, preferably 2Ls or 3Ls, or recent law school graduates.

Candidates preparing for or awaiting Nevada bar exam results are encouraged to apply.

Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.

Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

A proactive, detail-oriented approach and willingness to learn.

Interest in workers’ compensation defense, insurance defense, or litigation.

A collaborative mindset, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.

Previous workers’ compensation experience is a plus, but not required.
