Job Description: .NET Developer

Employment Type: W2 Contract

Experience: Mid Senior Level

About the Role:

We are looking for a .NET Developer to build, enhance, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performing applications. You will work with product, QA, and DevOps teams across the full development lifecycle, from design to deployment and support.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core
Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following SOLID principles
Work with SQL Server and ORMs (Entity Framework Core) to design schemas and optimize queries
Build or integrate front-end components using Angular, React, or Blazor
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging
Deploy and monitor applications using CI/CD pipelines and cloud services
Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance and security
Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning and estimation
Maintain technical documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong experience in C# and .NET 6/7/8 or later
Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core, Web API, and MVC
Solid knowledge of Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and SQL Server
Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and Docker
Familiarity with Azure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus) or AWS
Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Unit testing with xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest
Understanding of async programming, dependency injection, and design patterns
Working knowledge of authentication and security (OAuth2, JWT, OWASP)
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
