If you're the person who's always filming something, making your friends laugh, jumping on trends, or saying "I could make better content than this," we want to meet you.
HowToo is a Reno startup building the future of car repair. We're creating a platform that helps people figure out what's wrong with their car, find the right parts, and actually get the job done, with help from Orion, our AI mechanic.
Now we're looking for two ridiculously creative people to help turn HowToo into a brand people want to follow.
You'll be on camera. You'll have access to cool cars. You'll interview people, chase ridiculous ideas, and test things. You'll talk about car culture, new cars, weird automotive facts, trends, builds, brands, HowToo, Orion, and anything else in the car world that makes someone stop scrolling.
Some videos might teach people something. Some might make people laugh. Some might be completely unhinged. That's kind of the point.
What you'll actually do
- Be one of the faces of HowToo on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and more
- Come up with original ideas people want to watch
- Shoot car content, interviews, challenges, reactions and trends
- Talk to strangers and get real reactions
- Spot what's happening in car culture and turn it into content
- Jump on trends before they're dead
- Film and edit short form videos
- Experiment constantly and figure out what hits
You might be perfect for this if...
- You're really comfortable on camera
- You have a big personality
- You're naturally funny, curious or entertaining
- You actually use TikTok, Reels and Shorts
- You can make a video feel native to social instead of like an ad
- You'll walk up to a total stranger and start a conversation
- You can shoot and edit your own content
- You're constantly coming up with ideas
- You like cars, car culture, tech, or just cool stuff in general
- You don't need a script for every video
You do NOT need to be a mechanic.
If you know cars, awesome. If you're obsessed with cars, even better. But we'd rather have someone with an incredible personality who can learn than a car expert who's boring on camera.

Location: Reno, NV
Schedule: Flexible, part time
Pay: $2,000 to $6,000/month, based on experience and hours
