Technical Services

Technical Services provides essential infrastructure that supports UC Irvine Libraries’ resources in all formats, including print and electronic resources. Our services include licensing, acquisitions, cataloging and metadata, processing, and repairs. We maintain the UC Irvine Libraries catalog and work to ensure resource access and discoverability.

 

Job Description

Open daily bulk mail for monograph acquisitions, including but not limited to special collections, rush and non-rush materials, and/or video media.
Sort according to nature of material. Open daily first-class mail and distribute to appropriate staff. Assist in receiving of print monographs. Assist with physical processing.
 

Other projects as needed.
