Behavior Technician

MKE Behavioral is a small, woman-owned business operating in The Milwaukee Metro area. We provide therapy based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children and adolescents with autism or other developmental disorders, both in clinic and in home settings. We pride ourselves on our supportive atmosphere and attention to work life balance.
 

As a Behavior Technician, you will interact with children and adults with varying special needs, in their own homes or surrounding communities. We utilize a results-oriented approach called applied behavior analysis (ABA therapy), which involves observing how our clients react to their environment and how they respond to people around them. Therapy treatment typically works on social skills, daily living skills and communication.

The training we provide allows you sit for the Registered Behavior Technician exam. If you are pursuing your BCBA, we offer supervision as part of your employment!

This is a great role for people who are looking to advance their careers in occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, behavior-based therapy, and other psychology specialties. No experience is required and we provide paid training.

We look for individuals who:

  • Display a fun, energetic, and creative personality
  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • GED/HS diploma
  • Have reliable transportation, and valid driver's license
  • Are able to pass a thorough criminal background check

 

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.25 - $17.00 per hour (Based on education and experience)

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Optional Saturdays
