Key Responsibilities

- Care Coordination: Manage incoming referrals from pediatricians, schedule complex follow-up tracks, and handle multi-line phone communications with parents and pharmacies.
- Insurance & Tech Navigation: Coordinate prior authorizations for life-saving medications (like growth hormones or insulin) and help download data from patient CGMs/pumps for provider review.
- Medical Records Support: Maintain precise electronic charts within Epic, scan outside lab results, and ensure providers have all requisite clinical histories prior to patient encounters.
- Medical Assistant (MA)

- Track: Intending to apply to Medical School (MD/DO) or a similar advanced health professions program (PA, NP, RN) during a 1- or 2-year gap period.
- Skills: Exceptionally organized, empathetic, and patient. Excellent communication skills are required, as you will interact heavily with anxious parents and pediatric patients.
