Preferred Financial Services will be offering opportunities to students who are currently pursuing an education in Accounting, Finance or Business.  Our firm has been serving the community for over 35 years providing our clients with income tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll and other business services.

We are offering seasonal and part-time opportunities to one or more students who may be interested in gaining experience in an office setting.

Requirements:  The applicant should have basic knowledge of bookkeeping, income tax theory and computer experience.  The applicant should be detail oriented and organized.  The position(s) will consist of computer-based data entry using our software programs,  you will be trained to use our software programs and other office equipment prior to the start of income tax season.  The applicant will not meet with clients but will perform basic office duties, scheduling clients and responding to email inquiries may be required. The applicant will be working under the direct supervision of our administrative staff. 

The position(s) will be from January 1, 2027 through mid-May, 2027 based upon the applicant's class schedule.  Up to 48 hours will be available during the months of January thru April, 2025.  The ideal candidate will be available to work a minimum of two (2) days per week, we are closed on Sunday.  This is an hourly paid position, training will commence upon hiring and should be completed by January 1, 2027.
