Key Responsibilities Counselors support students across a wide range of activities, including:
- Editing essays online — guiding students through college application essays, personal statements, supplemental essays, and activity descriptions while preserving authentic student voice
- Cover letter preparation
- Summer program applications
- Online course selection and registration support
- GPA management and academic planning
- College applications and interview preparation
This role combines strategic college counseling with hands-on writing support to help students build strong, authentic applications and clear pathways forward.
Online Essay Editor (Online)
- Edit college application essays, personal statements, supplemental essays, activity descriptions, and related writing online
- Provide clear, constructive feedback that strengthens content, structure, and clarity while preserving the student’s authentic voice
- Guide students on storytelling, reflection, and answering specific prompts effectively
