Position Overview

Aspire Senior Living Moberly is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and safety-focused Transportation Driver to join our team!

 

The Transportation Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation for residents to and from medical appointments, healthcare visits, social activities, and community outings.

This Transportation Driver position plays an important role in supporting residents' independence, quality of life, and access to essential healthcare services.

The ideal candidate is a responsible driver with excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to safety, and a genuine passion for working with seniors.

Experience transporting individuals with mobility limitations, including residents who use wheelchairs or walkers, is highly preferred.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

Must meet applicable state licensing, endorsement, and transportation requirements.

Previous professional driving or transportation experience preferred.

Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, senior living, healthcare transportation, or non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) preferred.

Experience operating wheelchair-accessible vehicles and mobility equipment strongly preferred.

Active CPR certification required.

Knowledge of safe driving practices, vehicle inspections, and basic vehicle maintenance.
