Training & Development Coordinator

HIRING RANGE: $2,944.80 - $3,558.40 bi-weekly

JOB SUMMARY  

Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and administering the City’s training, development and wellbeing initiatives including onboarding, engagement, wellness, and recognition programming utilizing adult learning principles and best practice training methods. 

 

We are looking for someone eager to build relationships, identify training growth opportunities for the City, and collaborate with a variety of people, both internally and externally. This position plays a key role in creating a positive employee experience and strengthening engagement for the City of Sioux Falls. They would be required to develop and organize a variety of programs to support and encourage growth for City employees and supervisors.  

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, instructional design, business or public administration, or a related field, and a minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority. 

 

Possession of a valid driver’s license is desirable.
