Duties and Responsibilities- Clinical Care & Patient ManagementExamine, diagnose, and treat patients, delivering high-quality, competent medical management.Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and imaging; prescribe medications and therapies as clinically indicated.Monitor patient progress, re-evaluate treatment plans, and refer to specialists when necessary.Counsel and educate patients and families regarding procedures, test results, and treatment plans.- Documentation & Administrative EfficiencyMaintain thorough, accurate EHR documentation, ensuring all charting is completed within 24 hours of the patient encounter.Process medication refills and pending provider tasks within 24 hours.- Practice Standards & Call DutiesProvide after-hours call coverage for panel patients, arranging cross-coverage with colleagues during planned absences.Perform duties in accordance with the Delegation of Services Agreement under supervising physician guidance (for APP roles).Adhere strictly to Blue Stone Health & Wellness policies, HIPAA confidentiality rules, and corporate compliance/fraud prevention standards.

QualificationsEducation and licensure: NP or PA Degree.Valid and current NP or PA license in the state of CA.Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, complete short correspondence, and memos.Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform mathematical skills necessary for medication administration and other skills as needed.Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common-sense understanding in writing, orally, or in diagrams.Interpersonal skills: Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and communication skills necessary to consistently interact with patients, patients’ families, and staff members in a professional manner. The provider should be able to deal with unhappy patients or difficult situations, and always be professional and courteous.
