Medical Office Receptionist

360PCP is a premier concierge medical practice located in Westlake, Austin, dedicated to delivering personalized healthcare tailored to each patient's unique needs and preferences. Our mission is to cultivate enduring relationships between patients and our medical team. 

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Medical Assistant to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical and computer skills, including proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems, to support our medical staff in providing exceptional patient care.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Interaction

  • Utilize our EHR system to manage patient appointments, confirmations, and assist patients with the patient portal.
  • Maintain and update patient charts, ensuring accuracy within the EHR system; experience with Athena Health is a plus.
  • Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight; assist during patient examinations.

 

Physician Collaboration

  • Support physician during appointments, assist with daily patient reviews, and ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Connect with physician daily to review all past and upcoming appointments.
  • Maintain and execute a list of all ongoing action items, ensuring they are being met to completion, and effectively communicating progress to the physician.
  • Assist with note taking during patient encounters.

Office Operations

  • Ensure adequate stocking of medical supplies, maintain office organization, and uphold a professional work environment.
  • Coordinate care with other specialists, including making referrals and facilitating seamless communication between providers.
  • Manage prescription refills and address medication-related inquiries by liaising with pharmacies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, physicians, and pharmacies.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and computer skills.

Not required, but certainly a plus:

  • Experience with electronic health recors systems
  • Ability to take and record vitals (blood pressure, weight, etc.).
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant.
