BuySide Studio is an emerging education technology (EdTech) and career development platform founded by experienced private equity professionals with a mission to redefine how the next generation of finance professionals learns, develops, and succeeds.
We believe traditional finance education is only part of the equation.
Understanding financial models, valuation methodologies, and investment concepts is important. But developing the judgment, communication skills, professional relationships, and practical experience needed to succeed in high finance requires something more.
Our approach combines education with real-world application, mentorship, and hands-on experience.
Through live Masterclasses, specialized deep-dive courses, personalized coaching, and our selective BuySide Fellowship, we aim to bridge the gap between academic learning and the realities of private equity, investment banking, venture capital, and investment management.

The Opportunity
Help Us Build the Future of Finance Education
We are seeking ambitious, entrepreneurial, and highly motivated BuySide Interns to join our growing team and work directly with our founders to help build and scale BuySide Studio.
This is not a traditional campus ambassador position or a passive internship.
You will become part of an early-stage EdTech business, contributing to the strategy, marketing, operations, and execution required to bring our educational platform to students and young professionals nationwide.
You will help us grow our community, execute monthly educational webinars, expand university relationships, support student recruitment, and improve the systems behind our programs.
More importantly, you'll gain firsthand experience working alongside finance professionals and entrepreneurs who are building a business from the ground up.
This is an opportunity to learn by doing, take ownership of meaningful projects, and potentially earn consideration for the selective BuySide Fellowship.
Mandatory Two-Semester Commitment
All applicants must commit to a minimum of two consecutive academic semesters. This is a firm requirement.
We are looking for individuals interested in building something meaningful over time, not simply completing a short-term internship.
Our team will invest in training, mentorship, and professional development. In return, we expect consistency, accountability, and a willingness to take on increasing responsibilities.
The two-semester structure allows interns to participate in multiple marketing campaigns, monthly webinar cycles, and ongoing business initiatives while developing measurable accomplishments.

What You'll Do
1. Go-to-Market Strategy & Business Development
Help execute BuySide Studio's growth strategy as we expand our reach across universities and early-career finance communities.
Support the development and execution of marketing and student acquisition campaigns.
Identify and engage university finance clubs, investment organizations, and student leaders.
Assist with outreach to prospective Scholars and institutional partners.
Research new growth channels, strategic partnerships, and market opportunities.
Help develop and execute social media and digital marketing initiatives.
Track outreach activity, engagement, and campaign performance.
Contribute ideas to strengthen our positioning and expand awareness of BuySide Studio.
2. Monthly Webinars & Educational Programming
Our monthly webinars are a key part of introducing prospective Scholars to the BuySide Studio experience.
Interns will help manage the planning and execution of these events.
Coordinate webinar schedules, registration, and promotional activities.
Support speaker preparation, presentations, and event logistics.
Assist with live webinar operations, attendee engagement, and Q&A.
Manage participant communications and post-event follow-ups.
Help prospective Scholars understand our Masterclasses, courses, and coaching opportunities.
Track registration, attendance, engagement, and conversion metrics.
Recommend improvements based on participant feedback.
3. Business Operations & Platform Development
Gain direct exposure to the behind-the-scenes operations of a growing EdTech company.
Work with the founding team on operational and strategic initiatives.
Assist with student onboarding and program administration.
Help organize and improve internal workflows, reporting, and project management.
Support the development and rollout of new educational offerings.
Research emerging technologies, AI tools, and digital learning platforms.
Help identify opportunities to automate and scale business processes.
Participate in special projects that support the company's long-term growth.
4. Community Building & University Engagement
Help create a nationwide community of aspiring finance professionals.
Build relationships with students, finance organizations, and university communities.
Support student engagement and relationship-building initiatives.
Identify prospective Scholars, collaborators, and campus partners.
Help coordinate virtual events, educational sessions, and community activities.
Support the growth of BuySide Studio's digital and social media presence.
Serve as a professional representative of BuySide Studio within your network.
5. Strategic Research & Special Projects
Depending on individual interests, capabilities, and business needs, interns may contribute to additional initiatives.
Examples include:
Competitive research across finance education and EdTech.
Research on student recruiting trends and career development needs.
Analysis of marketing performance and customer acquisition strategies.
Research supporting future specialized courses and educational products.
Exploration of AI-enabled learning, personalized education, and technology-driven training.
Strategic planning initiatives alongside the founding team.

Exceptional interns may be considered for admission to the selective BuySide Fellowship.
The Fellowship is BuySide Studio's premium, personalized professional development experience, designed for individuals seeking deeper mentorship, technical development, career guidance, and access to experienced finance professionals.
Internship performance, initiative, professionalism, and demonstrated potential will be considered when evaluating Fellowship candidates.
Fellowship admission is selective and is not guaranteed by participation in the internship.

Internship Commitment & Expectations

All selected candidates will be expected to:
